Walt Disney World, Florida (Part 1) - Magic Kingdom

Last June, my hubby and I went to San Francisco, Florida and New York. I was supposed to blog about my trip last year but I stopped blogging after I got busier with work. I am back to blogging again! You can read my San Francisco trip here. I uploaded 100 plus pictures into my San Francisco trip post so you gotta have lots of patience to scroll and enjoy the 100-plus pictures post!

For my posts on Florida and New York, I will be blogging in many parts.

In June, I went from Singapore --> San Francisco --> Florida --> New York --> Singapore!

From San Francisco, hubby and I took a plane to Orlando and then a short (1 hour) flight from Orlando to Florida. As there was a delay in our flight from Orlando to Florida, we only reached Florida at 1 a.m. We were supposed to reach Florida at 8 p.m. so we were delayed for about 5 hours. BAD experience!

Since it was only a short 1-hour flight, there were no drinks and food served on board, so we did not have dinner and when we reached Florida, we were famished!

When we reached the airport in Florida, all the cafes were closed so we went straight to Disney's Magical Express counter to take the coach bus to our resort! The Magical Express coach bus is free for all customers who stay in Disney resorts.

Finally we arrived!! We stayed in Pop Century Resort and I absolutely love this resort. The price was good and the room was clean. The moment we reached our resort, we ordered pizza from Domino's and I was so glad that we were in time to place an order for a pizza. Domino's pizza delivery ends at 3 a.m. and we ordered at 2.30 a.m. :)

This was a large size pizza and two of us could finish it VERY QUICKLY!

The next day, we woke up late and had a good breakfast before exploring the resort and going to Magical Kingdom.

If you are intending to visit Disney World for a few days, it is good to stay in Disney's resorts because there are free shuttle buses from the resorts to the theme parks.

There are 4 theme parks altogether and we went for all 4 during our 4-day stay in Pop Century Resort! :)

 Pictures of Magic Kingdom!

Disney World is truly a happy world! It rained a few times when I was there and yet the rain did not dampen the mood of the visitors to Disney World. Everyone still looked very happy.

Come back to this blog to check out the upcoming posts on Florida! :)

TGIF and have a blessed weekend! :)
