Bali Hotel Review: Amadea Resort and Villas

Hi all! I just came back from Bali and thought I should start blogging about my Bali trip when everything is still fresh in my mind. I will be publishing a series of blog posts on my Bali trip. If you are interested in my Bali experience and reviews, please come back to my blog often to check them out.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

About three weeks ago, when Z told me that he wanted to go Bali, I was very excited but my excitement was short-lived! As I started planning for the trip, I realized that it was no easy task.... Deciding on which part of Bali (Seminyak, Kuta, Nusa Dua, Uluwatu or Ubud) to stay in was already a big headache for me. Thank God for great friends who provided good advice. :)

Now that I have researched and explored a bit of Bali, I think I am in quite a good position to give some (hopefully useful!) advice to all of you out there who are planning to go Bali!

There are many many hotels in Bali. To make hotel selection more complicated, I had to decide on which part of Bali I want to stay in. The choices are Seminyak, Kuta, Nusa Dua, Ubud and Uluwatu. Finally, I decided on Seminyak because I am not really a "beach person" so I did not foresee myself going to the beach every single day. I love shopping and good food so staying near the 'Eat Street' in Seminyak makes sense. If you like to be near the beach, staying in Kuta and Nusa Dua will be good for you.

After looking through and reading many reviews on Trip Advisor, I decided on Amadea Resort and Villa! It was an excellent choice and I did not regret it! The staff in Amadea Resort were very helpful during my stay. Amadea Resort is very conveniently located near popular restaurants like Ultimo, Rumour. There are many interesting clothing boutiques near Amadea resort and I had a great time checking out the shops. Amadea Resort is also a short walking distance to Seminyak Square, a shopping mall!
